'clang::CompilerInstance::createDiagnostics(clang::TextDiagnosticPrinter*)'. the error always happens while compiling mesa, and i haven't been using any binary repos.

kris_: krisVPS when? that would kinda be decent. im playing with a thought of having a pubnix, although instead of running a mainstream distro, it would run oasis, or my oakiss rather
<kris_>
getting rack space in a datacenter is pretty expensive so definitely not any time soon unless i buy a handful of IP addresses and host out of my bedroom or something lol
<sad_plan>
figured as much. I dont recall who I watched, but some youtube did this, and the price was just awefull
<sad_plan>
I think they even brought their own hardware
<kris_>
idk one of my friends who lives in zurich is really lucky because she can literally just get 25 gigabit symmetrical internet and buy IP addresses for super cheap
<kris_>
so if she were so inclined could quite literally just put a few racks in her house and go
<kris_>
i dont really get access to that kind of bandwidth because i'm american
<sad_plan>
nice. here the speeds are not even close. I think we can get a 1G line where I live, and thats at most
<kris_>
yeah, same here
<kris_>
and sadly we have to pay an extra 30 usd per month for unlimited bandwidth that still has an asterisk
<sad_plan>
im also amazed by people talking about those immens speeds. seeing as here I am and am happy with measly <100Mbps download speeds on highspeed servers. hell even a quarter of that would be good lol
<sad_plan>
I kinda hate those asterisks they put up. damn just give me unlimited, or dont call it unlimted
<kris_>
i have gig down and 400mbps up at the moment, not entirely sure why
<kris_>
my father just randomly upgraded it because he thought id want it even though i think gig is almost always completely unnecessary
<kris_>
for home connections, i mean
<sad_plan>
I think I have 150 down, and like 25 up or something like that. we dont have fiber atm, use some coaxial stuff
Guest85
quit (Quit: Client closed)
<kris_>
yeah we also do not have fiber
<sad_plan>
yeah I think having about those speeds we have now is more than enough. maybe get better up speeds because I do try to seed on my desktop. but thats mostly not a me problem really
<kris_>
i "dedicate" 200mbps of my upload to seeding stuff
<kris_>
really could do 350mbps nobody needs that much upload speed lol
* sad_plan
squints in envy
<kris_>
we got a price cut when this happened though
<kris_>
my father was on the phone yelling at some poor tech at my ISP for like 2-3 hours
<sad_plan>
I wanna build a server at home aswell. I really like those miniracks that jeff gerling posted some time ago. they look really nice
<kris_>
this whole thing started because of the ISP equipment not letting me change wireless settings outside of SSID/passphrase
<sad_plan>
poor employer
<kris_>
and forcing wifi 6
<kris_>
which means half of my familys shit is too old to connect
<sad_plan>
I see
<kris_>
ISP box is just my modem now though so they dont have control over what i can or can't do anymore
<sad_plan>
I had issues with my pixel 4a actually when we moved. I could never get it to reconnect to the network. I always had to reauthenticate
<kris_>
but they gave us a free speed upgrade when he threatened to move ISPs so lol
