raph_ael: Did you edit anything in your /etc/init directory?
<merakor2>
I have spotted an issue with the init scripts this morning, and I was going to push a new init update in an hour.
<merakor2>
Maybe they could be related
<merakor2>
raph_ael: I have pushed a new version
<merakor2>
If you have edited /etc/init/runit.boot or /etc/init/getty.boot, I recommend using the new files, they should be named /etc/init/runit.boot.new and /etc/init/getty.boot.new
<merakor2>
If you didn't edit them, the new ones will be placed by the package manager
<raph_ael>
merakor2: did not touch anything
<raph_ael>
ok thanks
<raph_ael>
unfortunately, I can't boot the vm before monday
<raph_ael>
I'll tell you then
<merakor2>
Oh alright
...
<raph_ael>
thanks !
...
<raph_ael>
Just tried, seems really better, thanks
...
<merakor>
Great!

<raph_ael>
hi, I was wondering if it was a choice not to have rust in extra ?N
<raph_ael>
-N
...
<merakor>
In the repositories?
<merakor>
Well, I don't particularly like rust, use rust, or have any package that depends on rust. Plus, it was a pain in the ass to maintain it back when it was on the repositories.
<merakor>
However, rust is on the outsource repository, so you can install from there
<merakor>
git://git.carbslinux.org/outsource
...
<mcf>
merakor: what browser do you use in carbs?
...
<merakor>
mcf: webkit2gtk is packaged in Carbs
<merakor>
There are also packages for surf and vimb
...
<mcf>
ah, cool. was just curious
<raph_ael>
merakor: thanks
<merakor2>
raph_ael: You're welcome :)
<merakor2>
mcf: I have seen your openssh build with bearssl
<merakor2>
What do you think of dropbear?
...
<mcf>
i haven't used dropbear much, but it seems fine
...
<merakor>
mcf: I have packaged oasis' fork of openssh for bearssl support :)
